All Services

  • HEALTH MAINTENANCE CARE

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. We recommend an individualized program designed specifically for your pet that may include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay or neuter; dental health exam, and specialized blood and urine tests for all stages of your pet's life.

  • BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. Our experienced veterinarians will eliminate underlying medical problems and  help design an individualized treatment plan for behavioral disorders such as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior.  We can arrange for referral to behavioral specialists for severe cases.  Behavioral problems are one of the main causes of elective euthanasia of pets.  Is your cat spraying urine?  Does your dog trash the house when left alone?  Does your dog pull your arm out of your socket when you try to enjoy a companionable walk?  There are solutions.   Ask our professionals for help.

  • BIRDS, REPTILES, RABBITS AND SMALL MAMMALS

Veterinary medicine for exotic pets is growing as the popularity of these animals increase. With better public education in health, nutritional and environmental management, all species have a greater chance for living longer and healthier lives. We employ staff veterinarians who possess experience in the care and treatments of exotics.

  • BLOOD TRANSFUSION

We maintain a supply of blood products and blood substitutes for pets in case of emergency. The blood is collected from donor pets that live with their owners, and all blood is carefully screened for disease.

  • DENTAL CARE

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Advanced dental care is available by referral, including root canals, caps and braces.   Good dental hygiene prolongs your pet's life.
